One such scheme launched by the MP government is called the MP Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana/Scheme. This scheme was launched on 1 April 2018 by the chief minister of Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, pregnant women above 18 years of age can get a financial amount of Rs 16000 from the government. This scheme is applicable for weak labor pregnant women who are financially not stable.

Moreover, at the time of pregnancy, women also need nutritional support. Keeping this in mind, the government wants to reduce the problems of women workers through this scheme.

- The main benefit of this scheme is that pregnant women can get an amount of Rs 16000.
- The women will get the amount directly into their bank account.

- The government also provides 50% of their wages for 3 months if they are not able to work due to pregnancy.

ELIGIBILITY
- The scheme is only for women workers in the unorganized sector, hence only they can avail the benefits by applying.
- Only those working women who are registered in the Labor Department will get the benefit of this scheme.
- To avail benefits under the scheme, it is mandatory for the woman to be at least 18 years of age.
- Only women native of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of the scheme.
- The benefit of the scheme will be available only to those women who have a maximum of 2 children.
- Only those women who deliver in the hospital will get the benefit of the scheme.
